Day 18 - What is in my makeup bag?

This will be a short post:

I don't have a makeup bag. I haven't worn makeup since my senior prom, and that was a fight.

30 Day Challenge - Day 17 and Day Zero!

Day 17 - What I wore yesterday

Yesterday I pretty much stayed in  my workout clothes all day yesterday.  So a tank top and running shorts.  When it got to dinner time, the house started getting chilly so I changed into camo hunting pants but stayed in my workout shirt.

Day Zero Accomplishment!!!

Yesterday I had my Mom do my body fat percentage.  It came to 19.6 %!!! Which means I have officially completed #27 on my day zero list!!!

Josh and I got him a new car (FINALLY) it's a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse!  I am in love!

*After he gets home Josh and I are going to look into getting him a new car!  He already knows which one he wants!

*That last night was my little brothers last 5th grade chorus concert!  He is autistic, and he did a great job!

30 Day Challenge - Day 13 and Books

Day 13 - My Favorite Cake Recipe

Chocolate Cherry Delight Cake

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup HERSHEY'®S Cocoa

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon baking powder  

Dash salt

1/2 cup nonfat milk

1/4 cup frozen egg substitute, thawed

1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup boiling water  

Whipped Topping (recipe follows)

 1 can (20 ounces) lower calorie cherry pie filling, chilled    

Recipe

1. Heat oven to 350. Line bottom of two 9-inch pans with wax paper. 
2. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Add milk, egg substitute, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water. (Batter will be thin.) Pour into prepared pans.

3. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Carefully remove wax paper. Cool completely.

4. To assemble dessert, place one cake layer on serving plate. Spread with half of Whipped Topping; top with half of pie filling. Top with second cake layer. Spread with remaining topping and pie filling. Refrigerate at least one hour.

Whipped Topping

Blend 1/2 cup cold nonfat milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 envelope (1.3 ounces) dry whipped topping mix in small, deep narrow-bottom bowl. Whip at high speed with mixer until topping peaks, about 2 minutes. Continue beating 2 minutes longer until topping is light and fluffy.

It was a cute story and I really enjoyed it!


Now I am reading "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown

This is the 18th book I will be reading for my day zero project.  I am trying to read 75 by January 1, 2013!  I think I have a chance of completing this one!

30 Day Challenge - Day 10

Day 10 - My Favorite Painter

Me and Josh actually had an argument debate about this the other night.  I am sooooo not an art person, its not even funny.  I can appreciate good photography and architecture but drawings and paintings, I just can't get into.  For example, I went to the Prado Museum in Spain in 2006 for the Picasso exhibit.  While most people would be excited to see all these famous works of art, I could not have been more bored.  On the other hand, seeing the coliseum in Rome and Parc Guell in Spain and a ton of other famous structures was amazing!  Needless to say, I do not have a favorite painter, so I will leave you with pictures of some of my favorite buildings. (That I have been to)
